The tour experience includes a visit to the wine region of Niagara-on-the-Lake with the accompaniment of professional and knowledgeable tour guides, who will teach you about unique wine architecture and the history of the Niagara grape-growing region. You will learn about vines, including European and North American varietals clones, and how grapes are able to grow in a cold climate. You will visit production areas and discover the detailed process of wine making and wine makers' styles of production.  You will have the opportunity to learn about vineyard techniques, viticulture procedures, and enjoy the history of our wine country and the origins of some of the finest ice wines in the world. During your exploration, you will have the chance to tour large underground barrel cellars while sampling some of the best wines crafted right here in Niagara-on-the-Lake. You can also learn the art of wine tasting, including what to look for in a quality red wine, white wine, or ice wine. A demonstration about glassware influence in the evaluation of the wines is also available.
